Starting off a new week (and year) with a steam theme, firstly Britannia at Bewdley.

Although orange is spreading through the fleet many trains operated by West Midlands Railway are still in London Midland green with new labels, as with 172 218 at Shirley.

As well as orange trains, the Midlands Metro is turning blue.

The initial livery of West Midlands Railway was very different and only carried by 172 339.

This week's theme is Transport for West Midlands and the new liveries being applyed to the region's trains and trams. Starting with 323 204 in WMR orange livery at Bromsgrove.

The predecessor to NSE was London & South East livery, known as "Jaffa Cake", worn here on 309 616.

The ever popular Network South East livery, on 50 017 at Hampton Loade.

This week's theme is the many liveries used by British Rail in the 1980s and beyond as they moved beyond the corporate blue standard livery, starting with Regional Railways as on 31 270 at Rowsley South.
